Reverse Hat Post Construction: Southwest Expressline’s unique reverse hat post/sidewall construction doubles the number of sidewall weld points and increases the strength of the framework.
Undercoating and Sound Deadener: Every So0utwest trailer is undercoated to seal and protect the framework from the elements. The bottom side of the plywood floor is also sealed.
Electrical Wiring Protection: Wherever wiring passes through steel, grommets are used to prevent wear and eventual problems with electrical shorts.
Sidewall Rust Inhibitors: Each unit has a vapor barrier installed to minimize corrosion from electrolysis. All exterior sheet metal screws are warrantied for five years against corrosion.
