Hale QFlo 1250 Pump
Body Remount
Perry Center brought us a used 2002 model year FL106 chassis as a basis to fabricate a pumper truck from, 100% in house. This is how it appeared when purchased:

While waiting for parts, we started to disassemble the cab (for both clearance and prep for when we paint it in our paint booth down the line). We also shortened and cleaned up the chassis to accomodate the new Hale pump and body it will be recieving.

Here are the polished diamond plate steps we fabricated. Smooth edges for safety while retaining the high luster.

Perry Center's new Hale pump arrived, which we installed a few hours later. The pump is Hale's QFlo 1250gpm, with right side LDH and front suction.

Updated 1/28/09
We removed the Hale Pump and started to prep the Apparatus for paint. Unfortunaly, we only got a few pictures early in the process.

Once painted, we reinstalled the Hale Pump on the chassis.

Perry Center's donor truck arrived with the Heavy Rescue body we are currently swapping to its new home.

After some preperation, the rescue body was mated to the chassis, where the extensive fastening, wiring, plumming, and more would commence!
