Gorman Delivers New Vehicle to Hispanics United of Buffaloby gefire
Gorman Bus Sales, a division of Gorman Enterprises, recently delivered a new, Glaval Entourage, 28-passenger bus to the Hispanics United of Buffalo organization located on Virginia Street in Buffalo, New York.
Hispanics United of Buffalo acts as an advocate organization for the Hispanic community dealing with issues such as homelessness, domestic violence, joblessness and language barriers. It is Buffalo’s only community based not-for-profit, multi-service organization providing low and moderate income Hispanics and others with culturally appropriate services addressing social and economic self-sufficiency needs.
Lourdes T. Iglesias, Executive Director of Hispanics United said this will make it possible for more Latino seniors to come to our organization and interact with others. “When the seniors saw the new bus I knew this was the beginning to the expansion of this program.”
The new bus will be used to transport senior citizens to and from the organization, medical appointments, and group outings.
Bill Gorman, President of Gorman Enterprises, said, “Our team is proud to work with Hispanics United, an organization that provides so many important services to the community. This new bus will help them expand their outstanding services to more individuals in the community. With that in mind, we are very pleased to have contributed in a small way to their continued growth. ”
Tom Rojek, sales representative, Gorman Enterprises, worked closely with members of the Hispanics United team to research and select a commercial bus that will provide the best transportation services for the organization.
“The day we delivered the bus to Hispanics United there was so much excitement and appreciation from the staff and clients. They all came out on the street and took pictures and toured the bus. You can tell how important this was to them. It really was an awesome experience.” Mr. Rojek commented.
