MORE OPEN HOUSE PICTURES

On June 6, 2007, Gorman Enterprises had its second annual Open House/Vendor Exhibit/Customer Appreciation Day.  In attendance were over 350 customers, guests,vendors and employees; including major truck chassis dealers, many local contractors, and several school transportation supervisors and head mechanics.

There were 30 vendors/suppliers that provided displays for our guests and customers to see and review, and answer questions on various truck and bus related products and equipment.  The vendors also provided door prizes including leather jackets, spring jackets, golf shirts, golf balls, t-shirts, hats, baskets of cheer, gift certificates and even a 13" colored TV.  The vendors included Air-Flo Bodies, American Cooling Technology, Ampliroll, Brookline Machine, First Niagara Leasing, Star, Hiniker Plows, Roll Rite Tarp Systems, United Trailers, Henke Plows, Beau-Roc Dump Bodies, WeatherGuard, Maxon Lifts, US Truck Bodies, Swenson Spreaders, Meyer Plows, Buyers, Q Straint, Kelly's Appliances and Gorman Bus and Parts Departments.

Also on site were the Clutch Artist Car Club, Carbone Race Team and Stoneman Race Team providing over 20 classic cars and race cars for our guests to see and enjoy.

The affair was catered by BW Catering and refreshments by Try-it/Heinekin, and Consumer Beverages.

A good time was had by all and we look forward to having a bigger and better celebration next year.

 

GORMAN ENTERPRISES AWARDED NY STATE DOT CONTRACT Gorman Enterprises was awarded the NYSOGS contract for upfitting Medium Duty Trucks with 6 Person Cab (DOT and Others).  Gorman will be upfitting the trucks with various type of equipment including dump bodies, plows, liftgates, flat beds, and cranes.

FOR OGS CONTRACT: GROUP 40580 - TRUCK (CLASS 6) CHASSIS-CAB TYPE WITH VARIOUS BODIES, SNOWPLOWS & ASSOCIATED OPTIONS/ACCESSORIES  Gorman Enterprises was listed as Body Upfitter for International Truck & Engine for dump, platform, service and van bodies, liftgates, snowplows and other accessory truck equipment.

GORMAN ENTERPRISES is on the go.  Gorman is proud to announce the addition of a new commercial bus sales respresentative for the down state, New York City and Long Island area.

We are proud to announce Richard Solano as the newest member of our Commercial Bus Sales Team at Gorman Enterprises. Bill comes to us with over 5 years of transportation industry experience. Richard will be responsible for developing commercial sales down state in New York City and Long Island area.
