New 2009 Ford E450 Chassis
Remount & Refurb

 Below is the Chief XL Type III body we will be using to remount on Gates' new 2009 Ford E450 chassis....

We seperated the Chief XL body from the older chassis and started to prep it for it's "facelift."

 

 

All painted with PPG base/clear.  All parts have been or will be wet sanded and buffed.  We also masked off the painted box to apply the rugged coating to the exterior cabinets.  It's starting to look like a brand new ambulance!

Gates' new Chief XL is nearing completion and we are very pleased with the way it is turning out.  It looks and performs like a brand new module.
